Supply Drop and Brief Teacher meet and greet will be August 20th between 1-3pm.

CLINIC NEWS

2021-2022 Immunization Requirements for rising Kindergarten and 7th grade students:
7th graders must have the Tdap and the MenACWY vaccine prior to the start of the 2021-2022 school year.

Rising Kindergarten students must have their 4 yr. old shots, 2nd MMR, 2nd Chickenpox vaccine, and school physical prior to the start of the 2021-2022 school year.

All Physical & Immunization records are due by August 18th.

Volunteer Opportunity: We need volunteers to cut Tennis Balls to cover the legs of student chairs and desk to reduce wear and tear on the floors.  You do not need to be Virtus trained for this opportunity because this is a take home project. Please click Tennis Ball to sign up.

Volunteer Opportunity: 
We are in need of volunteers to help us move furniture from one classroom to another.  This event will require heavy lifting, bending, twisting, and standing. Virtus training is not required for this event .  Please click Classroom Shuffle  to sign up.

Volunteers- Parents/guardians if you have completed the initial Virtus training please remember to log in to your account at least once a month to keep up with the latest training bulletins. In addition if you are interested in being Virtus trained (a requirement to volunteer) or you are unsure if you’ve done Virtus training please email Mrs. Kelly at lkelly@piusxparish.org. Summer Reading and IXL- The Summer Reading and IXL announcement has been released. Please click on the link Summer Reading and IXL to open announcement letter. The goal of our summer reading and IXL program is to encourage students to read for pleasure as they continue to refine  their reading skills and add a splash of summer learning with IXL Math.

SCHOOL UNIFORM REMINDER
During the 2021-2022 school year students will be required to wear the updated uniform with the new school logo. Uniform with the new school logo can be purchased from Lands’ End (Preferred School Number: 900157769) and Flynn O’hara.

ADMISSIONS AND FINANCE NEWS

School Contracts: All FACTS contracts began on July 1, 2021. Please check your account for current payment information.

Facts Re-enrollment is now open through FACTS.  There is an increased interest in SPX School by new families and classes are filling up.  Please understand that your child’s spot in a classroom this year does not guarantee their enrollment for next year.   You must complete the re-enrollment through FACTS to secure a space for your child for the 2021-2022 school year.  For questions, contact Mrs. Burfield at kburfield@piusxparish.org.

Financial Aid Applications are now being accepted for the 2021-2022 school year.  Please ensure your FACTS application and ALL supporting documents are submitted via your FACTS account or visit https://online.factsmgt.com/aid.  For questions or concerns please contact Mrs. Weidman at sweidman@piusxparish.org.
