Afterschool Extracurricular Sports Activities for 4th – 8th Grade Students ONLY. Sports will start on Monday, March 15 and run through Wednesday. March 31. This month’s activity will be Basketball. Students will learn new games, socialize with classmates, and work-up a sweat! Middle school students will meet on Tuesdays from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm and 4th and 5th graders will meet on Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Space is limited to only 15 students per time slot. Social Distancing Guidelines will be followed, students will be separated by grade level, every student will have their own basketball, and games will be non-contact. This activity is for Virtual and Face to Face 4th – 8th grade students ONLY, younger siblings will have to be picked up at normal dismissal time. Virtual students that would like to participate will work on skill sets at home. Participating students will exit out of the gym door. Dress Down Guidelines:
- Shirts must have sleeves and cover the belt/waistline. No plunging necklines, tank tops or
halter tops. T-shirts that advertise politics, alcohol, tobacco, contraband or other inappropriate
sayings are not permitted.
- Frayed, torn, ripped or unsightly jeans/pants/shorts or shoes and yoga pants are NOT
permitted to be worn.
- Shorts are NOT allowed.
- Cosmetics and jewelry are to be worn in moderation.
- The administration is the final judge on the suitability of attire and/or appearance.

Larrymore Elementary School Parking Lot. Please note that Norfolk Public School students will start returning to school on March 15, 2021. If your child is currently designated as a WALKER at dismissal and they meet you at the Larrymore Elementary School parking lot we ask that you please refrain from continuing to park at Larrymore’s parking lot. If you need to change your child’s dismissal carpool please email your child’s homeroom teacher and the school at firstname.lastname@example.org..
2021-2022 Immunization Requirements for rising Kindergarten and 7th grade students:
7th graders must have the Tdap and the MenACWY vaccine prior to the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
Rising Kindergarten students must have their 4 yr. old shots, 2nd MMR, 2nd Chickenpox vaccine, and school physical prior to the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
Daily Health Checks – For the health and safety of our school community, please keep your child(ren) home if anyone in your household isn’t feeling well.
Flu Shots – If your child(ren) will be getting their flu shot this year, please notify Mrs. Pile by email (email@example.com) before the student’s scheduled appointment. This will help us track students who may display symptoms.
ADMISSIONS AND FINANCE NEWS
Facts Re-enrollment is now open through FACTS. There is an increased interest in SPX School by new families and classes are filling up. Please understand that your child’s spot in a classroom this year does not guarantee their enrollment for next year.
